Privacy policy
This notice explains how Codewave Solutions (“we”) handles personal data when you use codewavesol.com or ask us to do work. It is written for visitors in the United Kingdom and in Pakistan.
Who is responsible

What we collect
- Identity and contact data you type into the form: name, email, optional phone, service, budget band and message.
- A hashed version of the IP address, the time of the submission, and whether the notification email was accepted by the mail provider. We do not store the raw IP in the submission log.
- Technical data such as browser type, which the host and (only if you accept analytics) Google Analytics 4 may process.
- Cookie preference, stored in your browser.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and prepare a quote. The form will not send unless you tick the consent box. For UK GDPR this step is consent, and the enquiry itself is also the start of steps you asked us to take.
- To keep a record of the enquiry for follow-up and in case of a dispute. Our legitimate interest is running a studio that can show what was asked and what was answered.
- To block spam and abuse (honeypot, timing check, rate limit, and Cloudflare Turnstile when it is configured).
- Analytics only after you choose Accept all or turn analytics on under Manage. The lawful basis there is consent. You can reject all and the site still works.
Who else sees it
Email delivery may pass through our host’s mail server or a provider such as Resend or Brevo, depending on what we have configured. Analytics, if accepted, is Google Analytics 4. Turnstile is Cloudflare. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
The studio is in Pakistan. If you write from the UK, your enquiry is handled there. Where a provider is outside the UK, we use a supplier that offers an appropriate safeguard (such as the UK extension to the EU standard contractual clauses, or the provider’s UK addendum) where that is required. How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, then deleted or reduced to a non-identifying note, unless a contract or a legal claim means we must keep them longer. Your rights
If UK GDPR applies, you can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, restriction, or to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We will respond within one month.
Marketing
We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote. Any later marketing email would need its own consent under PECR.
